IDB AG together with Katia SA from Martigny, Switzerland have developed a spamfilter that recognizes and blocks unwanted incoming calls.

The new IDB VoIP System Release 6.8 was released end of June 2017 for production. Effective immediately, systems deployed at new customers will be equipped with the new release. An update service for existing installations can be offered without impacting the availability of active service.

IDB, a Technology Vendor of Carrier Class VoIP Solutions, announced today that it has exhibited at CommunicAsia 2017 in Singapore. The event was hosted by IDB Management team from Switzerland and personnel from our Asia Pacific Organisation. IDB announced that a new version of their Android Smartphone application “an IP-Phone” was released today to their global installed base. This new release incorporates a refreshed GUI delivering a contemporary appearance and additional features. The IDB Smartphone application “an IP-Phone” enables users of our Carrier Class VoIP platform to make and receive calls for free or at local rates anywhere in the world provided a data connection is available.

Talktalk AG implemented the IDB VoIP app for IOS and Android smartphones to offer an alternative to make voice calls whilst roaming to their customers. With the application, travellers can reduce their roaming charges (roam like home) in any location with Wi-Fi network coverage.

IDB and Gryphon Secure Inc have agreed to converge go-to-market strategies, technical knowledge and support infrastructure to introduce the Gryphon Secure Mobile and Office Solution to the Asian market. The solution is ideal for the discerned customers who demand the highest security and privacy for their daily mobile and office communications need.

IDB and Connecting Project Srl, a Network Integrator and Telecom Solutions Provider, with HQ in Perugia (Italy), have agreed during the course of January 2017, to converge strategies, technical knowledge and support, to introduce the IDB VoIP System on the Italian market.

IDB is pleased to announce that they were selected by Ooredoo Maldives to supply their Carrier Class VoIP platform facilitating advanced Cloud Voice service deployment for the Hospitality, SMB and Consumer sectors in the Maldives.

IDB announced today that it has released the new version of their smartphone app “an IP-Phone” including IOS 10 CallKit integration. CallKit integrates IDB VoIP application into the smartphone’s native dialler. As of now, it is no longer necessary to enter the device’s pin code to de-block the iPhone upon an incoming call and users can enjoy an improved integrated call experience.

IDB has equipped the carrier voice system of Netplus.ch SA with new more powerful hardware and latest system features. By using new state of the art components, it was possible to replace the existing system with less space and power consuming hardware and at the same time increasing the capacity of the system substantially. All existing customers were migrated seamless to the new platform.

IDB announced today that the successful deployment of a customised Carrier Class VoIP platform for VNPT Vinaphone has been achieved. The new solution will facilitate advanced Cloud Voice and Mobile Office deployment for the SMB and Enterprise sectors in Vietnam.

IDB announced today that it has been selected to deliver its advanced All-IP residential voice solution and smartphone VoIP app to the Technische Betriebe in Wil, Switzerland. The Technische Betriebe in Wil offer their clients a complete suite of utility services including electricity, water and telephony services. IDB announced today that it has been selected to deliver its advanced Carrier Class Cloud PBX solution to Planet Communications Asia (PCA). PCA is a premier Systems Integrator and Distributor of Telecommunication technologies in Asia with headquarters in Bangkok – Thailand. IDB’s Cloud PBX solution will be bundled with PCA’s PlanetFiber and GigaNET ultra-broadband services for both the Consumer and Business sectors.

During the CeBIT fair in Hanover, visitors have had the opportunity to participate in a small competition. Mr. Boris Tölzel has won the competition and the first prize, a smartphone, was handed over by Mr. Frank Remmers.

IDB integrated own Security Suite in the Carrier Grade VoIP System. The Triple-A System Security Suite protects the system by preventing and limiting potential financial and reputational damage to the system and to the carrier.

IDB announced today that it has worked with FPT Telecom International (FTI), the largest VoIP Service Provider in Vietnam, to successfully deploy a Carrier Class VoIP System with 4,000 concurrent call capacity at FTI’s Data Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

There were strong interests from regional Service Providers and potential Technology Partners who visited IDB’s Booth – these are new promising business contacts for IDB at CommunicAsia 2015 in Singapore.

IDB developed and released a VoIP desktop client with integrated auto provisioning to enhance the end user experience. The client combines a comfortable VoIP client with UM functionalities like chat and video calling features and enables calls from the desktop pc using the fixed phone line anywhere where private network or public internet connection is available. Contacts of Outlook mail program or LDAP server connectivity integrate existing contacts into the client for easy dialling. Furthermore, simplified secure provisioning automates the registration process and ensures a full integration with system features.

IDB new system software includes the release of embedded Session Border Controller (e-SBC) functionality. This feature enables a secure connection to different private or public networks. An embedded solution reduces the total cost of ownership compared to a separate SBC and it will simplify the management and maintenance of the total solution.

IDB hosted Fixed Mobile Convergence Seminar in Hanoi – Vietnam on Tuesday, January 20^th, 2015. The event took place at the Nikko Hanoi Hotel and attracted participation from Telecom Systems Integrators and key Fixed/Wireless Service Providers in Vietnam.

Under the terms of our comprehensive Managed Services agreement, IDB has fully completed the system commissioning effort at Saigon Postel (SPT) in Ho Chi Minh City. The advanced AS VP-102 Class-5 Carrier platform is now ready to deploy differentiated business class Virtual PBX and SIP Trunking services to SPT’s Customers.

Saigon Cable (SCTV), a Triple-Play Service Provider in Vietnam has announced that they have awarded their recent Carrier Class VoIP Platform tender to IDB.
